By completing a booking at The Alcove, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a smooth booking experience.

Booking & Payment

Full payment confirms your booking. Your reservation is only confirmed once full payment has been received through our online payment system.
3 hours minimum booking on weekends. Weekend bookings require a minimum duration of 3 hours. For weekday bookings, please contact us for flexible options.
No refunds. All bookings are non-refundable. However, rescheduling is allowed within 48 hours of payment, subject to availability.
Caution fee. A refundable caution fee of 20% of the total booking amount applies to all bookings. This fee is refunded within 24 hours after your event, provided there is no damage to the property.
Setup time included. All packages include free setup time: 3-hour package includes 2 hours setup, 5-hour package includes 3 hours setup, and 8-hour package includes 4 hours setup.
Event setup not included. Prices cover venue rental only. Event setup, decoration, and styling are not included. We offer event planning services separately, or you may use your own event planner.

Event Timing

Guest arrival time. Guest entry is permitted only 20 minutes before the start of your booked event time. This ensures we have adequate time for setup and preparation.
Event end time. All events must end by 9:00 PM unless extended with a ₦150,000 late-hour charge. This allows us to maintain a respectful relationship with our neighbors.
Teardown deadline. Teardown and cleanup must be completed before 10:00 AM the following day. This gives you flexibility to pack up without rushing after your event.

Space & Equipment Rules

Decoration restrictions. No nailing or sticking items to the walls. We recommend using freestanding decorations or asking your decorator about damage-free hanging solutions.
High-powered equipment. High-powered equipment requires the use of your own generator. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring equipment that draws significant power.
Sound restrictions. Outdoor speakers must operate within the controlled sound limit to respect our neighbors and comply with local regulations.
Prohibited items. No fireworks are allowed on the premises for safety reasons.

Guests & Vendors

Guest capacity. Additional charges apply if the number of guests exceeds your booked capacity. Please ensure you book for the correct number of guests to avoid extra fees.
Vendor staff limits. Vendor staff should be limited to avoid overcrowding the space. You are responsible for coordinating with your vendors.
In-house services. In-house hostesses are available at ₦20,000 each if needed.

General Conduct

Zero-tolerance policy. Harassing our staff is not allowed. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, and offenders will be removed from the premises immediately.
Property respect. You are responsible for the conduct of all guests and vendors during your event. Any damage to the property will be deducted from your caution fee.

By booking any of our spaces, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
